Creative Advent Calendar

Hello. A friend sent me this, and I thought it was something my blog fans would like to see and perhaps make. It is pretty neat, and you can make one for your family and/or to give as a gift.

It's an advent calendar made with gift numbered gift tags and ornaments. You can make it modern, country, traditional... You name it.  Hang an ornament on the tree each day until Christmas day. I would have a nativity scene ornament for the 25th instead of the reindeer.

"The Gift" Christmas card

Are you getting inspired for Christmas yet? I hope so. Let's make cards and gifts. Let's think of those less fortunate and help them to have a wonderful celebration of the birth of God's Son. Let us all remember that, even though it's Jesus' birthday,  we are the ones who got the best gift of all: Him.

Card 'recipe'
Paper: White card, dark green and Merry Christmas with hollies (the Paper Studios)
Tools: Gift tag punch, computer and printer
Embellishments: Gold ribbon, oval red sticker (May the True Spirit of Christmas Shine in You), gift tag, red gemstones
